The ingredients needed to make Sukhdi:
  1. Take 1 bowl wheat flour
  2. Get 1/2 bowl ghee
  3. Get 2 tbsp chopped almonds
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp chopped cashew
  5. Take 1/2 bowl desi Jaggery
  6. Prepare 1 tsp dry ginger powder
  7. Get 1 tsp pepremul powder(ganthoda powder)
  8. Prepare 1 tbsp edible gum
  9. Get 1/4 cup desicated coconut

Mostly made with rich ingredients like milk, dried fruit, sugar and clarified butter each region in India has its own unique range of colourful decadent sweets that never fail to impress. A slight hint of green cardamom powder gives most of these a beautiful aroma and taste that has always been associated with mithais. Sukhdi is basically a delicious mix of equal amount of atta and jaggery and oodles of ghee, set and cut in diamond and square shapes and eaten like biscuits. Instructions to make Sukhdi:
  1. Take a kadai and add ghee and when the ghee is heated add wheat flour and roast it till it turns light brown colour and then add edible gum, desicated coconut and mix it well
  2. Now add dry ginger powder and pepremul powder and switch off the gas flame
  3. Now add chopped almonds and cashew in it and mix it. After 10 minutes add Jaggery and mix it well
  4. Now grease a plate and add the mixture in it and spread it evenly and then sprinkle chopped almonds and then cut square pieces out of it
  5. Now serve it
  6. It is a traditional Indian dish. It is easy to make and is also healthy.
